FASTP EMS 512 Text Messages

RETRIES

cnfg-file

is the FASTCNFG file name.

Cause. 

This message applies to FASTPXNS only. FASTPXNS detected a syntax error 

in the specified FASTCNFG parameter. 

Effect. 

No printing occurs, the Spooler job is requeued, and the Spooler device is 

placed offline.

Recovery. 

Correct the parameter, and restart the Spooler device. (Depending on the 

device configuration, the device might restart automatically.)

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

Cause. 

This message applies to FASTPX25 only. The RECOVERY value specified for 

the device in the FASTCNFG file is invalid (the only allowed values are NORMAL and 
REPRINT).

Effect. 

The device is placed offline.

Recovery. 

Correct the RECOVERY value in the specified FASTCNFG file, and restart 

the Spooler device. (Depending on the device configuration, the device might restart 
automatically.)

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.

is the Spooler device name.

Cause. 

The specified device name was configured as CONTYPE=X25, but the
