FASTP EMS 512 Text Messages

FASTP EMS 512 Text Messages

The messages in this section can be generated by any of the FASTP network print
processes. These messages are EMS 512 messages written in text form to $0. EMS
512 messages are messages that have not been fully converted to Distributed
Systems Management (DSM) display format.

Unless otherwise noted, each error message can be generated by any of the FASTP
network print processes. Error messages that apply only to a specific FASTP network
print process are defined as such.

512

proc-num

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

filename

is the file name in a CONTROLBUF 130 request.

Cause.

A CONTROLBUF 13O request was improperly formatted.

Effect.

The CONTROLBUF 130 request is ignored.

Recovery.

Correct the data in the CONTROLBUF 130 request.

512

proc-num

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

Cause.

This message applies to FASTPXNS only. FASTPXNS received an ABORT

packet from the specified device during the bulk data transfer phase. As a result the
bulk data transfer phase did not complete processing.
