SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Drying Operation Control
This system combining the inverter speed control with
indoor air volume control performs efficient dehumidification
with negligible change in room temperature (see graphic)

Individual Operation at Minimum Indoor Unit power
The electronic expansion valves installed not only in the
outdoor unit, but also in each indoor unit, control the
refrigerant flow. Hitachi achieves the reduction of the
minimum capacity up to 0.8 HP Indoor Unit to connect 20
and 30HP FXG1 Outdoor Units.
Trial operation and Self-Diagnosing by Multi-Function
Remote Control Switch and Printed Circuit Board in
Outdoor Unit
A high quality control by the new remote control switch has
been developed. The self-diagnosing function, which
enables quick checking of operation conditions in the indoor
units and outdoor unit, has been newly equipped.
Furthermore, alarm data can be put into the memory of a
micro-computer when an abnormality occurs.
A self-diagnosing function for printed circuit boards is also
available. Various operation data such as expansion valve
opening, etc. are indicated on the 7-segments on the printed
circuit board in the outdoor unit.
By these functions, saving of maintenance period and labor
during the trial operation and servicing has been achieved.
Greatly Minimized Piping Work by HITACHI "Uni-Piping
System"
The "Uni-Piping" system where the same size pipe as the
main refrigerant pipe can be utilized, has been developed.
Due to this single size, piping work has been greatly
simplified.
Also, from the point of design, complicated piping selection
has been minimized. Only two refrigerant pipes in the
refrigeration cycle are required. Various piping connection
sets are also available according to field requirements.
Due to these improvements, various problems during
installation have been solved. The new HITACHI "Uni-Piping
System" is the epoch-making system which saves
installation time and labour.
The "Uni-Piping System" is allowed up to 10HP.

Diagnosing using the Remote Control Switch
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) can be checked using the
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) remote control switch.
Therefore, diagnosing for PCBs at the site is quickly and
accurately performed.

Data Memory in the Remote Control Switch
In the case that an abnormality occurs, the LCD remote
control switch will indicate an alarm code so that quick
diagnosing is available at the site.
