7 Cleaning and servicing the heating system – Requirements

Take off the cover plate (1) of the fill level indicator.

Release the upper and lower M5 hexagon socket screws (2).

Turn the switch plate (3) with the mounted fill level indicator to
the left and carefully pull it forward as far as it will go.

Clean the undercut running surfaces of the fill level indicator and
lubricate these points with a heat-resistant grease.

Mount the fill level indicator in the reverse sequence.

Afterwards, check that the distance of the fill level indicator limit
switch (4) to the switch plate (3) is maximally 3 mm. If the contact
is correct, an LED lights up on the limit switch.

The cleaning and lubricating of the fill level indicator is com-
pleted.

Allow the heating system to burn out.

Turn the main switch off.

When the heating system is turned on, the delivery auger rotates in
the fuel bunker. Hands and feet could thereby be crushed.
