6 Using the heating system – Switching off the heating system

ROCEDURE

Turn the heating system main switch on.

✓

The control is activated.

✓

After a start-up phase, the display will first show a switch-on mes-
sage and then show the standard display of

i-01

✓

The heating system is now switched on.

✓

The HDG Compatronic continues working in the mode that it was
in before the heating system was switched off.

6.3 Switching off the heating system

Allow the fire in the heating system to burn out and cool down.

Press the

Mode

button repeatedly until the

OFF

symbol flashes.

✓

OFF

has been preselected.

Press the

Enter

button.

✓

OFF

mode has been confirmed.

✓

The

OFF

symbol lights up.

✓

The heating system switches to

OFF

mode.

Turn the heating system main switch off.

✓

The heating system is switched off and without current.

6.4 Displaying information

You can call up a variety of information on the display of the HDG
Compatronic control unit.

See section “6.10 Structure of the menus” in this chapter.

Press the

button.

✓

The display will change to the previous item of information.

Press the

Down

button.

✓

The display will change to the next item of information.

Important!

Frost danger

Only completely shut off the power to the heating system if the
danger of frost can be ruled out.

Enter

In this mode, only the protective programs are active.

There is still electrical voltage in the system.
