You are recommended not to run the

shutdown

command and then the

undo shutdown

command on

a member port of the aggregation group corresponding to an aggregate interface that is already shut

down. Otherwise, when the member port is brought up, the selected state of the remote port will be

affected.

Configuring a Load Sharing Mode for Load-Sharing Link
Aggregation Groups

The hash algorithm is adopted to calculate load sharing for load-sharing link aggregation groups. The

calculation could be based on service port numbers, IP addresses, MAC addresses, incoming ports, or

any combinations of them depending on the adopted load sharing mode. You can change the load

sharing mode of a link aggregation group to change the criteria used for calculation as needed.

link aggregation groups.

Currently, the hash keys for a switch are source IP addresses, destination IP addresses, source MAC

addresses, destination MAC addresses, source ports, destination ports, or the combination of these

fields carried in packets. The

ingress-port

keyword can be used as a hash key only when it is used

alone.
