Configuring the Shared Buffer Manually
The shared buffer is assigned to incoming traffic and outgoing traffic respectively. The area buffers
incoming traffic is called the shared receive buffer and the area buffers outgoing traffic is called the
shared transmit buffer. Tune their size depending on the actual situation.
Follow these steps to configure the shared buffer manually:

The manual shared buffer settings override the buffer settings automatically configured with the burst
function (if enabled). If you perform the
undo buffer-manage share-size
command while the burst
function is enabled, the buffer settings configured with the burst function rather than the default port
buffer settings take effect.
