H. Manual Mode Ramp Rate Screen –
From the Utilities Screen (Fig. 16), selecting the
Manual
Ramp Rate button will display the screen depicted below. Manual Mode Ramp Rate will work
when in either Nozzle or DUT control modes. Ramp Rates are in degrees C per minute.
When the manual mode becomes active the software stores the starting temperature setpoint and
will increase or decrease the setpoint until the desired temperature setpoint is achieved.
Remember that this is a temperature setpoint change so the nozzle or DUT temperature may lag
behind the changing temperature setpoint.
When in DUT mode, the DUT temperature will lag behind the nozzle temperature.

Ramping Indicator –
Green when system is ramping from one temperature setpoint to
another. The indicator will turn red when it has completed ramping.

Ramp Rate –
In degrees C per minute, values may be between 1.0 and 999.8. A Ramp
Rate of 0.0 or 999.9 will indicate a step change and the system will ramp as fast as possible.
•
Actual Ramping Temp Setpoint –
The system’s current temperature setpoint when
transitioning from one temperature setpoint to another.
