When the “Start Process” button is pressed the system will automatically change screens to
the NLTC main screen (Fig. 7) and begin the following automated process:
1.
Set the nozzle air temperature setpoint to 25ºC.
2.
Set the airflow to 5 SCFM.
3.
Wait for the heat exchanger to reach -80 ºC then start a 300 second timer (5 minute).
4.
When timer expires the air temperature setpoint will be decreased to -75ºC.
5.
When the Air Temperature holds temp at +/- 1ºC for 30 seconds the controller saves the
heater output for the specified SCFM.
6.
The temperature will then increment to the next setpoint (-15

75
´
125

´
225).
7.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until temperature setpoint =225°C.
8.
When temperature setpoint completes at 225°, the unit will increment air flow and repeat
step six and seven.
9.
When airflow reaches 20 SCFM and temperature setpoint is at 225°C the process is
complete.
10.
The maximum air flow that can reach 225ºC will depend on supply voltage.
a.
~17 SCFM @ 240VAC / 60 HZ
b.
~12 SCFM @ 208VAC / 60 HZ
c.
~10 SCFM @ 200VAC / 50 HZ
11.
The system will automatically return to idle mode and the manual screen.
