Normal Shutdown:
Ensure the system is in idle mode and controlling via the nozzle
thermocouple. Press the “Off” button (upper left corner of the MANUAL Mode screen). The
Shutdown Warning screen will appear to remind the operator to remove/protect the test piece
from potential moisture and a prompt a confirmation to proceed. After performing an
automated defrost sequence, the system will automatically shutdown the refrigeration and air
flow. The PLC and the touch screen will remain active, but the touch screen will go blank.
Normal Startup:
Touch any part of the blank touch screen and press “Restart” when
prompted. The system will then automatically go through its start up sequence.
Emergency Shutdown:
Press the EMO button. This will cut the power to all system
components except the PLC.
Startup After Emergency Shutdown:
While the EMO is OFF (down), turn OFF the main
circuit breaker, lift the EMO, and then turn the main breaker ON.
Improper Startup:
If the operator attempts to start the machine incorrectly using the EMO
button as a startup button, the Improper Start-Up screen will display.
