7 Display with scaling
The block model shows which data are exchanged continuously (i.e. by cyclic data transfer)
between the Gammapilot M and the PLC. The numbers refer to the function groups and
functions:
• After linearization and integration in the Transducer block the " measured value " (*00) is
transmitted to the Analog Input function block. There, it may be scaled and checked for
limit transgression, and is output via " OUT value " (*63) to the PLC.
• The function " select V0H0 " (*68) determines whether the " measured value " (*00) or the
value from the PLC, " display value " (*69) , is displayed at the device display.
• The function " 2nd cycl. value " (*67) specifies whether the " present averaged pulse rate "
(*A5) or the " medium temperature " (*A7) (measured with an external PT-100 sensor)
is output as the second cyclic value.
Modules for the cyclic data telegram
For the cyclic data telegram the Gammapilot M makes the following modules available:
1.
Main Process Value
This is the main measured value scaled by the Analog Input block (*63).
2. 2nd Cyclic Value
This is the present average pulse rate (*A5) or the medium temperature (*A7)
measured by an external PT-100 temperature sensor.
3. Display Value
This is a random value that is transmitted from the PLC to the Gammapilot M (*69). It
can then be displayed on the device display.
4. FREE PLACE
This module must be applied during configuration (see below), if the 2nd cyclic value or
the display value are not to appear in the data telegram.
