5.11 SPLITTING
A splitting procedure which is carried out by means of the keypad can be used to arm and disarm the burglar alarm system partitions in
addition to the procedures described above.
A particularity of the splitting method is that it allows to arm and disarm the partitions in the same way without needing to use two
different procedures.
Proceed as follows to change the status of one or more partitions in the system:
1) Enter
<Master / User / Installer / Technical Manager code>
, press
and then
.
2) Press
. The empty squares indicate a disarmed partition, the full squares indicate an armed
partition.
3) Press
and
to point to the concerned partition. The selected partition will appear on the first
line of the display.
4) Press
and
to change the partition status.
5) After having made the selections, press
to confirm or press
to cancel.
6) The display will go back to standard view automatically after one minute. Press
to switch the
view sooner.
IMPORTANT!
The user will arm and disarm only the assigned partitions and not necessarily all the partitions even with this
procedure.
5.12 DIRECT ACCESS FUNCTION KEYS
Three pre-programmed keys are provided on the keypads for directly activating the fire, emergency and silent panic indications.
Their position and shape are keypad-specific but the icons are the same:
= fire
= emergency
= silent panic
5.12.1
KP500D/N and KP500DV/N keypads
Hold
(fire),
(emergency) or
(silent panic) pressed for at least three seconds: the control panel will generate the respective
event without needing to enter any code. Each key must be enabled.
The environmental listening function can be activated automatically at the end of the emergency call on KP500DV/N keypads if they
are duly programmed to do so.
5.12.2
KP500DP/N - KP500D/ST keypad
Hold
F1
(silent panic),
F2
(emergency) or
F3
(fire) pressed for at least three seconds: the control panel will generate the respective
event without needing to enter any code. Each key must be enabled.
5.12.3
RC500 remote control programming key
During programming, the “
+
” key on the remote control may be configured to activate or deactivate a specific output to access one of
the following technological functions (fire, emergency, panic, silent panic) directly. Hold the “
+
” key pressed for at least five seconds to
generate the respective event.
