Alarms On/Off

The alarm limits for EtCO

, insp. CO

and CO

apnea

monitoring can be switched off with the
menu key »CO2-al. on/off« in MAN/SPONT mode.

In this case, the CO

symbol appears alongside

the measured endexpiratory CO

concentration.

The CO

alarm limits are reactivated by pressing the

menu key again. The disabled CO

alarm limits are

reactivated automatically when changing to a different
ventilation mode.

The CO

alarm limits can also be enabled and

disabled under "Alarm limits" in the configuration screen
in all ventilation modes, see page 81.

Disabled CO

alarms are indicated by a

symbol in the

measurement field.

If only the etCO

HIGH alarm or the FiCO

HIGH alarm

are disabled (in the alarm limit menu), this is indicated by
a

symbol in the measurement field.

The etCO2

and FiCO2

alarms can be configured

»ON« or »OFF« in standby mode for the transition from
automatic ventilation. When the alarm limits are set to
»ON«, the value is transfered from automatic ventilation
mode.

This function is used to list all active alarms in order of
priority.
