Disinfectants often contain – besides their main active
agents – additives that can also damage materials. When
in doubt, ask the supplier/manufacturer of the disin-
fectant/ cleaning agent.

For a list of materials used in the anesthesia machine,
please refer to page 145.

All parts of the breathing system, valve discs, bellows,
bellows container, Y-piece, breathing circuit,
breathing bag, parts of the absorber and Resutator
2000, and parts of the anesthetic gas scavenging
system

●

Disinfect in hot liquid disinfectant – in a disinfecting
machine at 93 

°

C (200 ºF) for 10 minutes.

Only use cleaning agent, no alkaline or chlorine-
releasing substances – risk of corrosion!

●

can be sterilized in a steam-autoclave at 134 

°

C 

(273 ºF).

Surfaces of Julian, gas supply hoses, cables and
Vapor 19.3 / Vapor 2000 .

●

Wipe off visible soiling with a damp disposable cloth.

●

Disinfect with a wipe disinfectant based on the active
ingredients outlined.
Always follow manufacturer's Instructions for Use.
