Transferring the OS Image to the iSCSI Target

QLogic iSCSI boot does not require transferring the OS image to the iSCSI target.

Booting

The iSCSI 

Fast!

UTIL BIOS includes an 

iSCSI Boot Settings

 option, which is 

accessed from the 

Configuration Settings

 menu. When you enable this option, 

you can specify the drive from which you want to boot. After this is enabled, the 
option forces the system to boot from the selected iSCSI drive. When you disable 
this option, the system looks for a boot device (as selected in the system BIOS).
