BAD ANSWER (Abnormal condition)

Bad communication with one section unit or several section units, could be

temporary. This fault code is sent when an interference in the communication is

detected.

Cause

Remedy

Bad communication with one or
several section units.

Exchange the section unit if the
condition remains or returns.

22 NO

ANSWER

No polling answer from a section unit.

Cause

Remedy

Wrong type of section unit.

Exchange to the correct section
unit.

Two section units have the same
address.

Check the units.

Hardware fault

Exchange the unit.

A fuse is blown. A secondary
fault appears, code (83).

Exchange the fuse.

Cable break in a loop or system
loop. A secondary fault
APPEARS, code (121).

Mend the cable. See

Cable break

at the end of this chapter.
