Power unit KE-2  

General 

The power unit KE-2 supplies the fire alarm system with the necessary power, 
either from mains, from batteries or from an other emergency source. 

The power unit is under continuos supervision and controlled by the central 
unit, which controls voltages, currents and certain faults. Important status data 
are indicated by LEDs. 

The KE-2 battery has a programmable charging characteristic consisting of 
five different charging phases: soft start, constant current, constant voltage, 
equalisation and maintenance charging.

There are seven LEDs on the front panel of the power unit.
