Interface board GSK-2
General
The interface board GSK-2 is used for connecting detector sections containing
conventional digital detectors. With this board it is possible to connect the
detectors from a C300 system to the CS3000 system. These detectors will
however not be addressable. To each GSK-2 board a maximum of four
detector sections may be connected. The detector sections are supervised for
cable breaks and it is also possible to disconnect smoke detectors on these
sections.
Handling
Indications
There are nine LEDs on the front panel of the board.
No 1 (green) when lit:
proper voltage supply.
No 2 (red)
when lit:
fire alarm in section #1
No 3 (yellow) when lit:
fault in section #1
No 4 (red)
when lit:
fire alarm in section #2
No 5 (yellow) when lit:
fault in section #2
No 6 (red)
when lit:
fire alarm in section #3
No 7 (yellow) when lit:
fault in section #3
No 8 (red)
when lit:
fire alarm in section #4
No 9 (yellow) when lit:
fault in section #4
Fuse
The battery voltage is fused. If the fuse is blown a signal is activated in the
back plane. The fuse is accessible on the front panel of the board, and can be
used for disconnecting the power.
Fuse rating: 2 AT 5x20 mm
Setting the addresses
The address of the first GSK-2 board is set to binary 1, the second GSK-2
board is set to binary 2, etc.
