Chapter 3 Maintenance

3. Review the displayed message and then

click [Yes].

Light cleaning begins.

When cleaning is in progress, do not perform
any other operation. It takes about 4 minutes to
finish the cleaning.

NOTE

• If the symptom persists even after completion of light cleaning, perform strong cleaning

(P.111)

• Cleaning during Printing

You can stop printing temporarily to perform cleaning.

1. Press the Pause key.

2. Select [Light Cleaning] or [Strong Cleaning] from the [Cleaning] menu on the status monitor.
