RM2000 Series Configuration
Introduction
This chapter explains how to configure RM2020 units for service using the
Universal Configuration Toolkit (UCT) software.
Configuration Overview
The configuration process includes the following tasks:

If present, disable any synchronization software (page 30).

Connect the unit to your computer. Start UCT and select a unit to configure
(page 30).

Load a template if one is available for the unit type you plan to configure
(page 32).

Choose a folder on your computer to store templates and log files
(page 32).

Verify the default setting for International Gateway is correct if working
with the RM2020 (page 32).

Set up battery information, controller clock, and a transmission schedule
(page 33).

Set up input channels and alarms (page 34).

Save settings in the Event Log (page 44).
