Error Messages in Numerical Order
50 CONT SWITCHING MA Y D AMA GE MECH SW
RF output p o w er switch, input attenuator switch at input R/A/B, or in ternal mec hanical
switch in the S-parameter test set is switching sw eep b y sw eep, b ecause RF p o w er lev el or the
input attenuator setting is dieren t b et w een t w o c hannels and the dual c hannel is turn on,
or con tinuous trigger mo de is selected after full 2-p ort calibration is p erformed when 4395A
is used with the S-parameter test set. T o a v oid premature w earing out of the output p o w er
switch, input attenuator switch, or in ternal switch of the S-parameter test set, c hange trigger
t yp e to HOLD, SINGLE, or NUMBER of GR OUP to hold sw eep after measuremen t required.
Or, for example, turn o the dual c hannel, or set the p o w er lev el and the input attenuator of
b oth c hannels to the same setting.
54 TOO MUCH D A T A
Either there is to o m uc h binary data to send to the analyzer when the data transfer format is
F ORM 2, F ORM 3 or F ORM 5, or the amoun t of data is greater than the n um b er of p oints.
55 NOT ENOUGH D A T A
The amoun t of data sen t to the analyzer is less than that exp ected ( GPIB only ).
56 OPTION NOT INST ALLED
This error o ccurs when an GPIB command whic h is optional command is sen t and the
analyzer is not installed the option ( GPIB only ). Please conrm options installed to the
analyzer using *OPT? command (see Pr o gr amming Manual .)
64 TOO MANY SEGMENTS
The maxim um n um b er of segmen ts for the limit line table is 18.
74 CURRENT EDITING SEGMENT SCRA TCHED
The curren t editing segmen t for the list table and the limit line is scratched when the
follo wing cases o ccur ( GPIB only ) :
When EDITLIST (edit list table) command is receiv ed while editing a segmen t for the list
table.
When EDITLIML (edit limit line) command is receiv ed while editing a segmen t for the limit
line.
Send LIMSDON (limit segmen t done) or SDON (segmen t done) to terminate editing segmen t.
75 COMMAND IGNORED - SEGMENT NOT DONE YET
The GPIB command the analyzer receiv ed is ignored, b ecause the segmen t is editing ( GPIB
only ). Send LIMSDON (limit segmen t done) or SDON (segmen t done) to terminate editing
segmen t. (See Pr o gr amming Manual .)
76 SEGMENT ST AR T/STOP O VERLAPPED
Segmen ts are not allo w ed to b e o v erlapp ed. Reen ter appropriate v alue for start or stop v alue
of segmen ts to a v oid that segmen t is not o v erlapp ed.
