IP Mobile Setup

Name/function

Explanation (checkbox)

Note

APN, user name and password are access data for IP-based transmission in the
wireless mobile network.

This data depends on the network provider and service provider. Request this data
from your SIM card provider.

Alternative: This data is usually stored on the SIM card. Insert the SIM card into a
smartphone before you use it in the wireless mobile module. Read the data in the
Data Settings menu.

APN

Enter the “Access Point Name” here.

User name

The user name for data access in the wireless mobile network.

Password

The password for data access in the wireless mobile network

IP Gateway

Note

The IP gateway settings are only relevant for the ARC IP-based communications,
speech dialler and email.
Ethernet is still used for


