Gas Spring Removal: 

STEPS: 

1.

 

Using the side of the hand – firmly knock the side of the plastic cosmetic sleeve loose. There 
are 3 spring clips that retain it at the top. If it does not come free – gently use the flat blade 
screwdriver to pry the cosmetics loose (use tape on the blade to avoid marring the chassis 
surface).
