19.4.1.2 Rear I/O Panel – System Status Lamps
The five (5) system status indicator lamps located on rear of the SmartCart SP (panel just above the
main AC circuit breaker) can be used to assist in troubleshooting problems with the system. The
definition of the each lamp is as shown in the table below:

Slow Blinking : System in “Standby” mode (Scan
Engine NOT docked)
Fast Blinking : Scan Engine docked (Scan Engine
powered “ON” or “OFF”)

“ Battery ”
OFF : No battery installed, or completely depleted
Blinking : Battery charging (or reconditioning) in-
process
Solid : Battery is fully charged

“ VAux ”
Solid : VAux – DC power for possible “ FUTURE USE ”
for peripherals. Currently not used.
- LED is currently always “ ON ” (when AC in power)

“ VMain ” Solid : +12V VMain power - Power On/Off button
pressed or Scan Engine and System fully “ON”
OFF : Power On/Off button not yet pressed

“ VScanner ”
Solid : +12V VScanner power - Scan Engine docked
(Scan Engine powered “ON” or “OFF”)
OFF : Scan Engine un-docked
