Remote Control through the Internet
: enables or disables the remote control
function (see ANNEX I. Remote Control via IP).
Device Description
: gives a name to the device, so that it turns easier to
identify it from the “Z41 Update” desktop application (which may detect other
Z41 devices on the same local network), provided for performing firmware
updates on Z41 Pro / COM through the Ethernet interface.
IP Address Assignment
: allows selecting whether the IP is set by the “DHCP”
protocol or it is “Static” (only available in Z41 COM).
This IP address is used to communicate with the Z41 Pro / COM remote control
from the mobile application as well as to update its firmware (see section 1.3.1)
over a local network. The options for the firmware update are listed in the
specific Firmware Update tab (see section 3.2.12).
3.2.12
FIRMWARE UPDATE
This tab lets the integrator enable or disable the device firmware update function (see
section 1.3.1) through the USB port.
