The IOLMaster keeps an internal patient file for a limited time. The data
is saved there and recallable (for reviewing, editing, printing and exporĆ
ting data via serial port, export to diskette) for a period of 5 to 100 days

Note:
The IOLMaster is not designed for archiving patient data and
measurement results.
The database field is structured like Windows Explorer. A "+" sign at the
branch indicates that the database already holds measurement results
for this patient.
If you click on the "+" sign the data of the previous measurement(s)
becomes visible.
If you click on the "-" sign the branch is collapsing again.
The data records of the file are sorted alphabetically by last name.
To quickly access a data record, you can use the Search textbox. If you
place the cursor in this box and type in the desired last name, all relevant
data records will be listed.
If a patient visits the office again before the selected interval for deletion
has reached, his/her data can be instantly transferred to the input area
by clicking the patient's name.
If you want to take a new measurement, click the

Recalling previous measurement results
The system permits data records of previous measurements to be
reviewed.
Click on the "+" sign in front of the patient's name.
Use the cursor to select the date of interest.
To recall the data record, click the
OPEN
button or the shortcut key

> + <
O
> or doubleĆclick on the date.
You can view and edit the data record.
Automatic Right/Left detection is deactivated.
To choose a side, press the
R
or
L
key, or click with the mouse onto
the desired side.
