Charging station
Use
Manual restart (IEC)
The charging station has a reset button
for the ground fault breaker. The button
allows charging to be reset, without using
the circuit breaker.
If the system is not reset via the reset
button, switch off the voltage to the
charging station, wait 1 minute and switch
on the voltage again.
If the fault persists, do not make any more
attempts to charge your vehicle. Contact
your local Volvo dealer for assistance.
Automatic restart (only SAE)
The Automatic restart function helps
to ensure that the vehicle's battery is
charged and ready for use.
If the charging station detects a fault,
charging stops and the light ring indicates
a fault. Charging resumes when the fault
is no longer shown.
The Automatic restart function does not
start directly, if the charging interruption is
due to a ground fault. The charger then
attempts to restart after 20 seconds.
If the fault persists, do not make any more
attempts to charge your vehicle. Contact
your local Volvo dealer for assistance.
