PMIU unit has 2 serial communication port.
COM1 port can use as RS232C or RS485-4
wires port (you can also use as 2 wires
mode by shorting some wires. refer
2.2.5).
COM2 port is only for RS485 2-wires.
Communication settings can refer/edit by
Node list window.
When you right click in list, following menu is displayed.
Add
Add new node. Node information window is displayed.
Edit
Edit exist node. Node information window is displayed.
Delete Node(s)
Delete selected node. When 2 or more node is selected, they
are deleted except the node that tag is defined.
Delete All Nodes Delete all node except the node that tag is defined.
Find
Search
node from node
list.
Search
result is displayed like
in list.
You cannot delete the node to which tag is defined. Delete tag before deleting the node.
Note that one port can only one communication mode. For example, if you set COM 1 port as TOSHIBA inverter,
the device except TOSHIBA inverter cannot be connected with the COM1 port.
Communication settings of other communicating device should be same, and address number is not same.
If not, Communication is not done. You must set other communicating devices before connect devices.
