USB Upload (From PMIU unit to USB memory)
Step 1.
Insert USB memory to USB HOST port of PMIU unit, then turn ON system bit tag S0037 (USB host
menu trigger).
Step 2.
Select “Yes” in “Confirm Operation” window. Select “Yes” in “Confirm Operation” window. If you
select “No”, or when you left the unit for several seconds, unit reboots automatically and switches to
HALT mode.
Step 3.
Select “Upload” in “Confirm Operation” window. Note that when you left the unit for several
seconds, unit reboots automatically and switches to HALT mode.
Step 4.
Upload options is displayed. Select item to upload to USB memory. If you select “Exit”, the unit
reboots automatically and switches to HALT mode.
Here are 6 items for upload. You cannot upload logged data or historical alarm data alone, select
“Appli Logged data” or ”Appli Hist. Alarm” for upload these data.

Step 5.
Select the item to upload, then operation is starts automatically. Note that if there is the large
quantity of the data logged by data logger or Historical alarm, it takes very long time for operation (it
takes more than ten minutes from several minutes), and you cannot abort or cancel this operation
after started.
Step 6.
“TRP0500A” folder is created in the USB memory, and the file is copied on to. Note that if there is
the file of the same name in the folder of the same name, they are overwritten.
Step 7.
When the upload operation is finished, unit displays confirmation window, and back to download
options menu. If you download 2 or more items, select item and repeat operation.
Step 8.
If you have finished uploading necessary items to USB memory, select “Exit” from upload options
menu to quite USB host mode. PMIU unit reboots automatically and switches to HALT mode.
Step 9.
Now there is the folder “TRP0500A” that contains some files in USB memory. Copy the folder to
your PC. When you upload alarm data or logged data, open the project with TR PGMS, and select
“Display Historical Alarm Data” ‘(to open alarm data) or “Display logged Data” (to open logged data)
from “Tools” menu of menu bar. Then the data is translated from BIN file and opened as CSV file by
spread-sheet software installed your PC is started. Name and save this file to use.
