Wiring for PMIU unit 

This section is common to all PMIU unit. 

 

Power supply cable connector   

This is detachable terminal block. 

Connecting of power supply connector is shown right. 

Insert 

and 

pull 

out 

connector 

straight. 

When 

force 

is 

diagonally applied, connector is damaged. 

 

COM1 port 

DB9pin female connector. If you use RS485 of this port as 2 wire connection, short 4pin & 5pin 

and connect to A line (or +, positive), short 6pin & 7pin and connect to B line (or -, negative) . 

All models has this port. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

COM2 port 

DB9pin female connector. This port supports only RS232C communication. 

TR PMIU0300L/A has not this port. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

USB SLAVE port 

USB Standard B type female connector. This is used to connect PMIU unit to your PC 

for programming and monitoring. All models have this port. 

USB HOST port 

USB Standard A type female connector. This is used for USB Host function and USB 

logged data upload. TR PMIU0300L/0500L has not this port. Refer
