Step 2. Add Alarm tag
If you select “16 consecutive words”, the address of 16 registers should be consecutive (it is necessary to
prepare 16 registers).
If you select “16 random words”, the register that can cover the number of alarms that you set is necessary
(16 registers need not necessarily be set).
Step 3. Set Alarm
Alarm description
This is common to all alarms.
Alarm Text Set alarm message. If alarm bit is ON, this message is displayed to alarm object.
Language You can change alarm text according to display language. Refer 3.6.
Alarm Notification This function is not available.
Alarm Severity When this value is smaller than the values set to the alarm object, the alarm is not
displayed in the alarm object
Acknowledge If checked, this alarm is acknowledged by the selected bit tag (alarm acknowledge bit).
Select bit tag.
History If checked, the alarm is set to Historical alarm. For the difference between “without
acknowledge” and “with acknowledge”, refer next page.

Even if alarm bit is ON two or more times, message remains only once in alarm log.
History with acknowledge
When alarm bit is turned ON two or more times, message for the frequency turned ON remains in
alarm log.
