Overview
You can prepare the display of text, message etc.
depending
on
plural
languages,
and
can
change
it
which
is
displayed
in
the
screen
of
PMIU
unit
according to the value of system register tag SW
0001 (Language).
When
your
machine/system
is
shipped
to
foreign
country, or if the machine/system is used in plural
countries,
displayed
text
should
be
changed
according to the language used in the country. Even if
in such case, it is not necessary to prepare for a
different project for all languages, and you can change
displayed language by writing the value corresponding
to each language to SW0001.
Language
is
set
in
“Language”
folder
in
Project
information.
Available language is up to 9, and available item is depending on the language setting of Windows installed your
PC. To add new language to WINDOWS, open “Control Panel” of windows, open “Regional and Language”,
select “Language” tab, click “Details” of “text services and input languages”. Then select “Settings” tab, add
new language by clicking “Add” button.
When you use this function, it is necessary to set displays of all objects and message of alarms for each
language.
In such case, develop project in one language, and add necessary languages. Then, export text data, edit
exported CSV file, and import the file again. You can edit each texts/messages in spread-sheet software or
text editor that is installed in your PC.
