10) Staple
This sets whether a document is printed with staples.

— Select this to print without staples.

Upper Left
— Select this to staple in the upper left and print.

Lower Left
— Select this to staple in the lower left and print.

Upper Right
— Select this to staple in the upper right and print.

Middle Left (Double)
— Select this to staple double in the left and print.

Center Top (Double)
— Select this to staple double in the upper side and print.

Staple Down The Center
— Select this to staple double in the center and print.

This option is grayed out when no finisher is installed.

“Staple Down The Center” can be selected only when the Saddle Stitch Finisher is
installed.

If you enable the Staple option after enabling the Interleave Pages option, the Interleave
Pages option will be automatically disabled.
11) Hole Punch
Select whether a document is printed with hole punches.

— Select this to print without hole punches.

Center Top
— Select this to create holes on the upper side and print.

Middle Left
— Select this to create holes on the left side and print.
This option is grayed out if a hole punch unit is not installed.
12) Page Number
This sets where the page number is printed.
Position
Select the position the page number will be printed.
Initial Page
Enter the page number starts with, between 1 to 999.
13) Time Stamp
This sets where the time stamp is printed.
Position
Select the position the time stamp will be printed.
14) Image Shift
This sets whether the page image is shifted or not.
Position
Select the direction the image will be shifted.
Shift Margin

Front
— Specify the width of margin added to the front page.

Back
— Specify the width of margin added to the back page. This applies only when
enabling the duplex printing.
15) Use Front Cover
This sets front cover printing which allows you to insert or print a cover on a sheet fed from a
different tray than the Paper Source option.
To enable cover printing, check on the box and select the location from where a cover sheet
is to be fed and the print style to be used.
