CPUs

The base Toshiba Magnia 3200 server is configured with a single CPU module with a
specified frequency (clock speed) and cache size. If your server has a dual-CPU
configuration, or you are upgrading your server to a dual-CPU configuration, you must
install CPU modules that have the same speed, cache size, and connector technology.

On pedestal models, the primary CPU module is installed in the right CPU slot (CPU1).
The secondary CPU module is installed in the left CPU slot (CPU2). On rack models, the
primary CPU module is installed in the lower CPU slot (CPU1). The secondary CPU
module is installed in the upper CPU slot (CPU2).
