03. PS/2 MOUSE test checks whether or not a PS/2 mouse is connected. During the
test, no message appears on the screen.

03. DISPLAY TEST checks the function of the display.
DISPLAY TEST (CRT) Error Log
- 01. VRAM W/R/C subtest writes constant data to video RAM. This data is then read
from the video RAM and compared with the original data.
- 02. 640*480 MODE DISPLAY subtest displays data in 256 color display mode in 640
* 480 resolution.
- 03. 1024*768 MODE DISPLAY subtest displays data in 256 color display mode in
1,024 * 768 resolution. Press Enter to change the display mode (256 color).

04. FLOPPY DISK TEST checks the floppy disk drive. Prepare a formatted floppy
disk for the test. Before starting the test, select the following parameters.

Test Drive number
Designates the floppy disk drive as drive A or B.
Media Type
Designates the format type (1.44 MB or 720 KB) for
the diskette for the test.
Test start track number
Designates the first track number for the test.
Please not change disks as instructed at the start of
the test when the message to remove the HW
Diagnostics test diskette and replace it with the test
diskette displays.
NOTE: This server does not support drive B. Select drive A.
