8. Remove the components surrounding the ion source.

9. Remove the source spacer, which contains the prefilter entrance lens. Also, compress and 

remove the triangular spring clip that the source spacer uses to hold the prefilter lens in 
place. 

10. Remove the lens stack.

11. Remove the magnet yoke, magnets, and thumbscrews as one unit and set them aside.

12. Disassemble the lens stack.
