6.3 Reference from Serial Communication RS485 Port 2 (H30 = 6 or 8)

To set the speed reference for the EQ7 drive via serial
communication parameter H30 has be set to either a “4” for
frequency command via serial communication only or to “8” for Run Command and Frequency Reference
(Frequency Command).
Default Communication Setting is:
Address “1”, 9600 Bits/sec, 1 Start Bit, 1 Stop Bit, and No Parity
This function sets the communication link function to select run/stop and frequency reference control.
Setting range:
0 to 8
To set parameter H30:
- Press
PRG
key, next select
QUICK SET or DATA SET
with
UP/DOWN
and
keys and press the
FUNC/DATA
key.
- In the parameter list move cursor to H30 with
UP/DOWN
keys and press
FUNC/DATA
key to select.
The serial communication link function uses RS485 Modbus RTU protocol and allows for:
1) Monitoring (data monitoring, function data check).
2) Frequency setting.
3) Operation command (FWD, REV, and other commands for digital input).
4) Write function data.
