THE

TOC A

UTOZERO

The TOC Autozero protocol determines the TOC offset, which is the difference

between the IC and TC measurements with the UV lamp off. It also determines the

background conductivity curves for each channel.
The Analyzer can be set to automatically perform a TOC Autozero at a specific

interval. The TOC Autozero is recommended only if the TOC concentration in the

sample stream is 50 ppb or less.

To program the TOC Autozero

1. If the Analyzer is taking measurements, click

Stop Analysis

2. On the

System Protocols

screen, select the

Calibration

tab.

3. Select

TOC Autozero

, then click

Setup

4. The

Setup TOC Autozero

dialog box appears.
