12 Electromagnetic emissions and
immunity
NOTE
Electrical medical devices are subject to special precautions regarding
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and must be installed and put into service
according to the EMC information provided in the accompanying documentation.
NOTE
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect electrical medical
devices.
12.1 Electromagnetic emissions
The
EVE ventilator is intended for use in the electromagnetic
environment specified below. The customer or user of the EVE ventilator
should ensure that it is used in such an environment.
Emissions Compliance Electromagnetic environment guideline
RF emissions as defined in
CISPR 11 Group 1 The EVE ventilator uses RF energy for its internal
function only. Therefore, its RF emissions are very
low and are not likely to cause any interference with
nearby electronic equipment.
RF emissions as defined in
CISPR 11 Class A The EVE is suitable for use in establishments other
than homes and those directly connected to the public
low-voltage power supply network that also supplies
buildings used for domestic purposes.

Voltage fluctuations/flicker
