table (Fig. 75, item 1) opposite the corresponding pair. Red indicates the level of the
second harmonic, blue indicates the level of the third harmonic. After testing all wire
combinations, the scan will end.

To view an enlarged image of the responses (Fig. 75, item 3 and item 4), set the tabular
cursor (Fig. 75, item 2) on the row with the desired combination of wire pairs.

Attention!
If a voltage exceeding 3 V is present in any pair of wires, the supply of the
probing signal to this pair is blocked. A message appears in the corresponding row:
>3V
8.4.2. TEST RESULT SAVING
Test results and current parameters of the NLJD can be saved on a PC as a file with the
extension
.nljd
SAVED DATA:
Switch settings,
probing signal level,
response levels at frequencies of 2 and 3 harmonics on each combination of wires.
When retesting this cable, this information will be used to compare with the results of the
current test.
To save the data, click
(Fig. 74, item 7). A window for entering comments
appears on the screen. It is recommended to indicate the identification data of the cable under
test and the level of the probing signal.
