It is necessary to consider that at change of view pane earlier accumulated information about
the maximum values of signals (a "claret" spectrum) is not saved. For the return scaling (increase
in a scroll bar) the
button is used. Reduction or increase the viewing band is carried out
concerning the frequency of the screen marker.

5.2.4. DIFFERENTIAL MODE
In the DIFFERENTIAL mode, the signal levels obtained as a result of previous scanning cycles
are taken to be "zero" and only signals that exceed them (difference spectrum) are displayed on
the screen.
The DIFFERENTIAL mode purpose:
reduce the influence of external noise and interference;
monitor changes in the spectrogram when connecting equipment to the cable under test.
The DIFFERENTIAL mode is turn on in the PANORAMA mode (Fig.42) by pressing F3 ("Diff
mode"). The field of this button will become lighter (Fig.43).
