To select a value, click on the corresponding field. The indicator displays the selected value
2. Use the
(decrease value) and
(increase value) buttons.
8.2.4. BIAS VOLTAGE SETTING
The bias voltage is set in two methods:
1. Click on
(Fig.63, item 6). A list of values is displayed on the screen:
To select a value, click on the corresponding field. The indicator displays the selected value
2. Use the
(decrease value) and
(increase value) buttons.
To change the polarity of the bias voltage, click the
button or
button, located to the left
of the
button. If a positive bias voltage is set, the
button is active.
If a negative bias voltage is set, the
button is active.
The value and polarity of the bias voltage is displayed in green on the Switch window
. Red color displays voltage values in the supplied pairs exceeding 3 V (DC). Voltage
values not exceeding 3 V (DC) are displayed in white.
Attention!
If the connected pair of wires is powered and the voltage on it exceeds 3 V (DC),
then bias voltage supply is not possible. The screen view is shown in Fig. 64.

8.2.5. AUTOMATED MODE
To turning on the AUTOMATED mode, click
(Fig. 61, item 6). When scanning, the
measured values of direct and alternating voltage are displayed in the Switch window, (Fig. 61,
item 10). On each pair, the Analyzer pauses for a few seconds so that the operator can evaluate
the received signal. Signal analysis is performed using an oscillogram, a spectrogram (on a PC
screen) and acoustic information (via a built-in speaker or headphones).
