If the external power supply’s voltage drops below the low voltage threshold,
the 664 reacts differently, based on the state of the internal recorder.
•
During recording or playback, the 664 will automatically switch to internal
batteries, if available.
•
While idle (not recording or playing back), the 664 will power down.
Configuring Power Settings
The External DC Reference parameter calibrates the power level indicator ac
-
cording to the type of external DC source. By default, this is set to 12V Ext DC.
To configure the Ext DC Ref parameter:
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Turn and press the Headphone encoder to select SYSTEM > Ext DC Ref.
3. Select the appropriate option for the external DC power being used. Options
include: 12V Ext DC, NiMH, Expanded NiMH, 12V Lead Acid, 14V Li-ion,
