Step 2: Switch on the camera

Switch on the power supply to the camera.

• Camera version 1 (indoor crane) is powered via the Power-IO-RS232 cable.

• Camera version 2 (outdoor crane) is powered via the power supply cable of the stainless steel 

housing.

Note
Camera self-test

Note that a self-test is performed each time the camera is started. The self-test is indicated by 
flashing of the power LED and lasts from a few seconds to 2 minutes. When the test is complete, 
the power LED emits a steady green light and the camera is ready for operation.

Step 3: Configure the Ethernet connection between the camera and PC

1. Start PRONETA Basic. The PRONETA main menu is displayed.

2. Click "Settings". Then open "Network Adapter" and select the adapter 

of your PC/programming device which is connected to the camera. Then click "Home" to 
return to the main menu.
