7. PS/2 Keyboard Connector
One PS/2 Keyboard connector is provided for communication between a keyboard and
the control panel.
8. Tally Connector
One 25-pin “D” TALLY connector provides 16 optional tally relays.

1. Panel Communications
Four connectors are provided for panel communications.
• FRAME — One 8-pin shielded RJ-45 connector is provided for communications
between the frame ( PANEL connector) and the control panel.
• AUX 1 and 2 — Two 6-pin shielded Telco connectors are provided for
communications between the control panel and remote Aux panels.
• Keyboard — One PS/2 Keyboard connector is provided for communication
between a keyboard and the control panel.
2. Remote Control
Eight 9-pin “D” serial connectors (RS-422) are provided for serial communication with
remote peripheral devices, such as VTRs, disk recorders, video servers, or other serial
controlled devices.

All connectors are present, whether or not you have options installed.

Important
The cable for connecting the Synergy Control Panel to the Synergy
Frame is
not wired as a standard CAT5 ethernet cable. If you need a
cable of a specific length, contact your Ross Video Representative for
ordering information.
