Saving and Recalling Custom Controls
For archive purposes and to keep safe backup copies of your valuable macros, it is recommended that
you store your custom control functions to the switcher hard drive or a USB key. This
also allows you
to keep a library of custom functions that can be recalled as required for your current production
configuration.
• Refer to the section “ Saving Registers ” in the Synergy Q/MD/X Operator’s Manual for
instructions on saving custom control (and other types of) registers.
• Refer to the section “ Recalling Registers ” in the Synergy Q/MD/X Operator’s Manual
for instructions on recalling custom control (and other types of) registers.
Note
You cannot store to or recall from the hard drive or a USB key while a
custom control function is playing.
