Port Information

MAC Address
: the MAC address assigned to the port. This address cannot
be changed.

iSCSI Port Network Settings
❑
IP Address
: the IP address to which the port responds. An uninitialized port
has an IP address of all zeros. You can change the IP address in this window
as well as through the Configuration wizard. When you change this setting,
you must click
Save
(at the bottom of the page) for the change to take effect.

Subnet Mask
: the subnet mask used by the port. The subnet mask can be
modified in this window, as well as through the Configuration wizard. When
you change this setting, you must click
Save
(at the bottom of the page) for
the change to take effect.

GateWay
: the gateway used by the port. When you change this setting, you
must click
Save
(at the bottom of the page) for the change to take effect.
❑
Programmed Link Rate
: the configured data rate for the port. The data rate
is configured by a menu containing the following data rates:

Auto (data rate determined by network attachment)
❑
10 Mbps (10 megabits per second)
❑
100 Mbps (100 megabits per second)
❑
1000 Mbps (1000 megabits per second or 1 gigabit per second))
When you change this setting, you must click
Save
(at the bottom of the page)
for the change to take effect.

Port Status: the port status, either Online or Offline. If a change has been
made to the port’s configuration or connection, the status may not be current.
In this case, click
Refresh
on the tool bar to get the current status.

Actual Link rate
: one of the following:

Unknown

1000 Mbps
❑
100 Mbps
❑
10 Mbps

: the VLAN configuration, either Disabled or Enabled. VLAN can be
configured from this window. When you change this setting, you must click
