3. Set the Receive From and Send To menus to “PreSonus FP16
Port 1” or “PreSonus FP8” (model dependent). Whether using the
FaderPort 16 or FaderPort 8, the #Ch’s should be set to 8.
4.
FaderPort 16 ONLY:
Create a second HUI device and set the Receive
From and Send To menus to “PreSonus FP16 Port 2” and “#Ch’s” to 8.
5. Click “OK.”
Your FaderPort is now ready to use. Enjoy!
3.2
Channel Strip
1.
Channel Name.
Displays the Channel name. When the fader
is being adjusted, the fader value will also be displayed.
This can be toggled on or off with the Macro button.
2.
Metering.
Displays the channel metering. This can be turned on or off by
pressing SHIFT plus the push button encoder in the Session Navigator.
3.
Pan Position.
Displays the Channel’s current pan position.
4.
Pan/Param.
The push-button encoder controls the pan
of the currently selected channel while in Track mode. For
stereo channels, this will default to the left pan control.
Push the encoder to access the right pan control.
5.
Select Button.
This button selects the corresponding
channel in Pro Tools. While selected, several editing
functions are available.

6.
Mute.
Mutes the corresponding channel’s output signal.
7.
Solo.
Isolates the corresponding channel’s output signal in the mix.
8.
Touch-Sensitive Fader.
This 100 mm motorized fader can be used to
control volume levels, aux send levels, panning, or plug-in parameters,
depending on mode.

Select Button Modifiers
Arm.
Pressing the Arm button will allow you to arm track for recording by pressing
the corresponding track’s Select button.
Arm All.
Press Shift + Arm to arm all tracks for recording. Press again to disarm all
tracks.
