Application Launch Failure 

Use the following procedure below if the application fail to launch. 

1.

 

Follow steps 1-4 from the 

Connection Setup

 procedure. 

2.

 

Connect the keyboard to the E-Box. 

3.

 

Power on the AA200 instrument and wait until the screen shows an arrow on top of the splash 
screen. 

4.

 

Timing is crucial: just as the arrow appears, use the keyboard to press the 

ESC

 key 

continuously until a blue PerkinElmer Instrument

 

screen appears on the touch screen. 

NOTE

: Press CTRL + ESC key to display the Start menu. 

5.

 

Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to Select 

Run

 or touch 

Run

 on the touch screen. 

6.

 

Enter the word ‘

killer.exe’

 in the dialog box and touch 

OK

. 

NOTE

: Allow 10 seconds for Killer.exe to terminate all running windows and programs.
