Utilities Menu
Each option on this menu is described in detail below.
Ping Utility
To check for a device on a network, follow the steps below:

Type
“P”
on the Utilities menu.

Type the IP address or complete host name. If you enter a host name, you
must enter the domain name also (i.e.,
mycomputer.mydomain.com
)

Type the ping packet size.

Type the number of times to ping (0 causes Ping to run until you press
Escape).
The IAD displays the following report:
